The gorgeous little one was so beyond happy, regardless of how cold it was outside, and man, she sure loved her Mommy and Daddy!

I frequently have a hard time explaining to friends and family how FAST my kiddo is at shredding my house. Often times I can't even attempt to clean my house while she's awake, much less tidy anything up. In fact, if she even sees you draw more attention to something, she will as well.

Since I believe pictures often speak louder than words...here's exhibit A. My little fabulously-fast, turbo-speed, house-ransacking, amazingly awe inspiring tornado.

This was one of THE happiest little ones I've ever met... she was more interested in her own tutu (ADORABLE) and her gorgeous red shoes than she was in me. However, I did get to witness how fast she can butt-scoot!

Here's another set of 3 you'll recognize! My bro, his girl and their poochie whom I'm proud to call my nephew! We recently met up to get them their yearly family portraits. And Mom? Since I know you're reading this... no, this was not an engagement shoot. Sorry to disappoint...and I'm sure when they need one, they know who to call! ;0)

Kristin looks smashing in hot pink, the hawaiian shirt is my brother to a T and Bear...well he did bust out of prison in the past, making him totally "Bad to the Bone". Couldn't be more perfect, right?

I love these guys and am so lucky and thankful to have them in my life!

Indian Summer - Albuquerque, NM Natural Light Photographer

We've had an AMAZING fall here recently. Not only has it been gorgeous with the yellow and orange leaves everywhere but the weather has been fabulous in the afternoons. We've spent many of those afternoons in the backyard...gathering leaves, playing with chalk, running around and soaking up the warm sunshine.

And of course, not all good things can last. Our indian summer came to a screeching halt yesterday with rain and some snow. At least now I can be excited for toasting in front of a fireplace, wrapping up in snuggly scarves and fluffy mittens. Just over a week until Thanksgiving...oh sweet pumkpin pie, stuffing and eating myself into oblivion!

You'll recognize these guys... and of course, we had a total blast again!

Hayley recently cut her gorgeous blond locks shorter...and that means she needed some updated family pictures to hang in her brand spankin' new house that's allllmost built!! So, we headed out and caught some of the fabulous lasting fall colors.

Return customers are such a treat! I love getting to know my clients better and better each time... and in return knowing they are more comfortable with me and in front of my camera. I love watching their families grow and relationships strengthen. I'm oh-so-lucky to have this "job" that I love!

Gosh...I LOVE fall. It's my favorite season, hands down. You can't beat the smells of roasting green chile, baking turkey or pumpkin pie... the warmth of a fireplace...playing in the leaves until you're totally out of breath or the excitement and anticipation of the upcoming holidays. Really, Fall has something for everyone.

We recently headed out to spend some time at one of the local pumpkin patches and corn mazes. We had a wonderful time, loads of fun and we all left tired from all the excitement.

I hope you get out, find something you love to do with the ones you love this fall.

Boo! - ABQ, New Mexico Custom Children's Photographer

This year I made, yes MADE my kiddo's Halloween costume...and it was so beyond worth it. It took me a month, working on it in small spurts but it turned out amazing.

The best part? She actually LIKED wearing it. Regardless of the fact she's entirely too shy to trick-or-treat much less look strangers in the eye, a Halloween costume is a MUST in my house. It's the major holiday for me.

These two are definitely still newlyweds...and it shows! I loved watching these guys like they were the only two people in the world. Love, affection, teasing and sarcasm...all rolled into one little hour.
